Default Pciide.sys Help

Hi,

Window XP SP2

When I start my Dell 600m today, there is a message pciide.sys missing.

I can still use it right now, but I am afraid to shot it down. Can anyone please help?

Yes, I have. it is 4kb 8/12/2004.

I noticed some icons are lost and sometimes I cannot read web page because some content is not readable.

I am new here. Please let me know if you need more information about my notebook to help.

I run some some online test and found "GUID / CLSID not found"

I tried to use XP CD to repair but get STOP 0x0000007B error (INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE) and cannot finish repair.

Should I try this You receive a Stop 0x0000007B error after you move the Windows XP system disk to another computer ?
