Now I already cut my loses and decided to reinstall windows XP. In the middle of installation my computer always restarts or powers down. Before it just used to restart on its own. Now it will not even boot up at all. It does its memory check and then sits on a black screen. The blue screen of death comes from time to time telling m=to check any newly installed equipment. I cant even start my system in safe mode.

Any help that anyone could provide to me please feel free to shoot me an email. I'm about to just stick a stick of dynamite in it and start over.

Sounds like Bad ram to me, I experienced those same symptoms and that was my cause.
