Default [Fixed] Log in Problems windows 2000

Hi,
My father is having problems with his windows 2000. He had a virus and he thought that the virus had created his guests accounts on his windows 2000 so he then deleted them since doing this when he boots his pc it asks him to log in which he has never had to do before. It comes up username Administrator with no pw. He said he has never put a pw in before and does not know it. Is there a way around this as he rang up the person he bought it from and now has to log in through dial up as I have no experience with windows 2000 I have no idea whats going on.

Is you father able to access Windows at all?
Or is he completely logged out?

Excuse my ignorance. "dials up to log in" do you mean accessing the computer remotely from another computer?

If not, then I do not understand the use of the words "dial up".

thats what i thought too lol. When he starts his pc it comes up with a log in,

it asks for a password for the administrator and there is an option there to click a box then it dials up. He uses his dial up information (username and password), once he does that windows starts up ??

Since he can access Windows, he needs to check the user accounts.
He may have deleted his own account.
If that is the case, he should create a new one. If he doesn't want a password, then he should leave that entry blank.
