Hello and welcome PC Help Forum.

Have you formatted the USB stick?

If this is a brand new USB stick then do the following.

Plug it in then open my computer, right click on the stick and format.A warning will popup sayng all data will be lost just continue.

No.

Do other USB devices work on this PC?
Is there data on the stick?

You need to open device manager and update USB devices in the list.
Or download the chipset for your machine this holds USB drivers, then use device manager.

Is USB enabled in BIOS?
