Default hyper-threadying techolgy CPU Detected

Hi everybody !
a friend of mine has a noisy sound coming from the hard disk,so he opened it and cleaned the fan. when he booted the computer stays on for 3 seconds then reboots again. he tried to fix the fan well once again, then he received this message error : "hyper-threadying techolgy CPU Detected ".
can anyone explain and help to solve this problem?
