as for as getting another video card an ATI would work so long as its a PCI Express card, you could always RMA the video card you got for a replacement
also what temp is your video card running at? you can use rivatuner to check that

Update:
Cool thank you. I might just get ATI next time. I got a version of windows Vista Business edition from my work, and guess what... no freezing! It must be a xp issue. So i am going to keep xp installed and just play games in it, and keep vista business and just do work in it. A bit of a hassle but oh well. So if anyone ever figures this out then i would love to hear it. Thanks for the help, and PCHF is a cool place to look for help! Compromise will breed corruption... |
