Default Windows dont come up

Hello, im in urgent need of assistance, wonder if anybody can help.

My computer, just wireless enabled via belkin usb adaptor via BT home hub, has got the internet on.

When i load a few internet explorer windows along the bottom taskbar, when i click one to change the site i am viewing, it doesnt come up. The internet explorer bar on the bottom i have clicked to view becomes orange, but doesnt load, i try to load another and that just highlights itself orange

This is very frustrating and i can only get them to actually come forward by minimizing and doing alt & tab and a mixture of both, and it takes a good few minutes to switch view.

Can anybody tell me why this is happening, and more importantly, HOW TO BLOODY FIX IT

any help, very much appreciated

scott

Hi Welcome to PCHF

OK -- slow browsing can be caused by many things-- but the most common is
clogged cache--
go here: CCleaner - Home

Download and install free CCleaner-- and run it at it's defaults
Clean all files it comes up with-- it is quite safe. Just select all and delete.
It will clear all your cookies, browser cache files, temp files-- all the junk you don't need.

Post back with results

Smashing

Thank you very much

Im over the moon now, just cleared the temp internet files and it fixed itself.

Need to make my PC run abit faster now. Removing some programmes i dont use anymore, and i "de-fragged" it the other day, but any other ideas how to get my PC, and also my internet connection a bit quicker

Im working off a wireless connection, but i hope to change that to wired today. That should improve my speed shouldnt it?
