Default [Fixed] Problems deleting items

Well i went home for spring break and i was up late and bored and tried to play the sims 2, But i couldn't find the disk, i asumed it was with my jumble of other disks in my dorm, so i tried to download a a no cd crack and iw ell to make a long story short i gave up and uninstalled the game hoping to reinstall, it on my laptop when i got back to school and now the file "the sims 2" is in the folder where the game should be and some of the files i tried to put in are there. And it keeps saying that they are being used by a person or program and i can't delete them i've tried restarting and well...thats pretty much call i can think of? Closed all the programs that might possibly be using it. But nothings working and its not letting me install it again i am asuming this is the reason, and if not well at least i'll have a peice of mind getting ride of the ****** annoying files, and know how if this problem arises again.

You could also try renaming the files you need to delete and then delete in the normal way. Doesn't always work but worth a try.Otherwise "Unlocker" will do it for you
