It won't let me upload the link as I saved it on my destop as a htm file format so if you know of a way to do it, let me know so you can read it better but if its fine like it is, then we'll just go with that.

Well firstly I think your hard drive is an old one and can cause problems.

You only have 256 memory installed so this can cause PC to slow especialy while surfing the net.

Now I have looked at your Belarc and you do not have a antivirus installed.

You will need to download one.
Download and update this free one update it and run it:AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition - Reviews and free AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition downloads at Download.com

Then download this antispy and update and run it:Spybot - Search & Destroy - Reviews and free Spybot - Search & Destroy downloads at Download.com

Turn on windows firewall.


You need to turn on automatic updates as it seems your is turned off.

Go to control panel then security option and turn on automatic updates.

Then go to Microsoft update center and update your PC.

Also download and run this:Download details: Windows® Defender

Also this and do a full scan:Windows Live OneCare safety scanner: Free online tool for PC health and safety


Have you activated windows via internet or telephone?

Also do this right click on my computer scroll to properties and open.

Click on hardware tab then on device manager button.

I need you to update drivers on all your hardware,please note downloading drivers or just running from a disk does not mean they are automaticaly installed.Please use device manager.

Right click on devices in there and choose update.

Change the htm to read html
by right clicking on the Icon and clicking Rename
then attach the file.

I knew that all that you mentioned about the updates and everything, that I needed to do that. I was meaning to tell you that but it slipped my mind but its cool. Thanks for all the info and what I'm going to do is change to a new hdd and see if that does the trick and I will get back with you. Thanks Gandalf for the info too...

I put a 60 gig hdd in and took out the 20 gig hdd and now its running perfectly. It has to be the hdd then all along.
