well i've made some interresting discoveries.

first is that my graphics card doesn't seem to even fit. And i managed to knock it out of place simply by touching the metal outer thing. and i can't replace it. i managed to get it back in but it still happend so now i have removed my card alltogether to see what happens and its still happening

Sigh. Any other ideas? memory maybe?

You must have onboard graphics?

Is there another monitor port on back of PC?

Make sure the card was pushed correctly in?
Is it in correct slot?

Oh dear maybe it was never fitted correctly,or wrong card forced into slot?

Theres something that looks like a monitor port but is green not blue and above it. not sure.

i know my pc has an intergrated graphics chip or something like that. My new card is estimated to arrive tomorrow So not that longer wait i might just wait for it to arrive and see if it will fit

If the monitor lead fits the port then you should be fine to go.However you will, proberly need to update the driver.

Got the new Graphics card. However my Dxdiag Still says i have the old graphics card and my pc is still messing up

You need to turn off onboard GPU in BIOS.They maybe conflicting.
