hey sorry to b a pain but whats a cod file? this is the only driver i can find so far that wasnt put on there when windows was put on it again recently.It has no company name but if its just a system file ill leave it and keep going. but majority of the rest look like they're just microsoft or intel one's

So thats normal then. i still cant work out what driver it is . would any anti virus things pick it up?

according to the file-ext site-- it is used for programs for blackberry phones...
I would not think it dangerous... but I'm not an AV specialist.
I'd leave it-- Mad will be back & help you out.

thanks mate , yeah i dont have a blackberry phone ive not put anything like that on there. this comp does have buetooth stuff though so maybe thats why it is there.

Hey Sharnz, no need to worry about any .cod files, only the ones listed in the Microsoft article, and the extra one I listed above. Once you have finished, take a look at PCHF Prework on my signature, which describes how to post an AVG (anti-virus) log, and hijackthis (for malware). We'll call in the heavy mob to make sure that's your absolutely clean of any remaining nasties.
