So I was messing with the registry and services and cmd and partition magic and diskeeper.. When I BSOD'ed myself as is common when I poke Vista and try to reduce idle resource usage.
Except this time I managed to screw it up pretty bad.. It won't load crcdisk.sys on boot, no safe mode no nothin.. And I don't have any of my discs with me since I'm away from apartment for a week.. So the situation is.. Critical..
Any suggestions before I go outside and find a stick to beat the laptop with? =P

So F8 wont work ? "restore factory defaults" is Vista pre loaded ? can you type rstrui into the search box and hit enter to get to system restore ?
