Default Lost my sound

Hi Guys

I recently reinstalled windows and fitted a new motherboard but I've lost sound. The multimedia audio controller has a big yellow question mark on it in device manager. I'm thinking I might need to download a driver but I'm not sure. I have a custom PC with the following info:

XP SP2

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400+

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Yes you need to download the drivers for your mainboard sound etc.

You could go to manufacturers website of your mainboard and download from there.

What is make n model?
