Stick at it Pirky (< sorry for the bad joke), but try not to use that PC, or at least make sure the faulty stick is removed first.
Do a disk check to clean up the disk of any errors that would have been caused as a result of bad
RAM by going to
My Computer, right click on your local disk (c) and go to
Properties. Click on the
Tools tab, and under "Error Checking", click
Check Now. Tick all options and press
Start. Reboot your PC and let scandisk run. Once your back in Windows after that, go to
Start, Run and type in
sfc /scannow with the Windows Setup CD in the drive to make sure that all your system files are all correct, present and accounted for.
