my friends has a dell inspron 5000 notebook and each time she turns it on, she states the bottom of the screen, "goes crazy" it then turns blue and then white which forces her to restart her whole pc. If she holds the screen a certain way it'll work but she has to push down on it, anyone have a clue, could it b a loose wire? its def not dead pixles i dont think

She's got to get it repaired, that's a hardware problem and I would not mess with opening it up and trying to fix it, laptop screens are extremely fragile. Tell her to call the manufacturer of the laptop and ask for an RMA/repair
