SP3 IS GONE!!! SP3 IS GONE!!! SP3 IS GONE!!! SP3 IS GONE!!!

I don't know if this is sticky worthy or not, BUT...

I finally found out how to uninstall SP3. Even when Add/Remove programs won't do it. Even when you mess up and run System Restore before you uninstall it.

C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$\uninst\

In this folder is a .exe for service pack 3 uninstall. Worked when nothing else would.

If I remember right, when I installed SP3 it gave me an option to create an uninstall, I believe this is that option.

A BIG THANKS TO ALL who stepped to to work on this on my behalf - i appreciate it very much, Shep

hey man, i think we had the same problem, and my frined gave me that exact same answer as on how to uninstall SP3. However, for me my recovery console isn't working and I don't know why. When i type in a command in the C:\ it tells me to insert a floppy disk or cd. I don't think it recognizes that i have a C drive or something. Myne must be really corrupted. But we pretty much had the exact same problem, i just gotta figure out how to get recovery console to recognize my C partition.
