hi i have got a problem with my email account i have just bought a wirless router and have set it up everything works ok but when i try to send or recieve emails it keeps trying to dial up to my old broadband modem and wont detect the wirless connection as a internet connection any ideas

Assuming your using Outlook to collect your e-mails? If so,

- Go to Tools, Accounts followed by Properties.
- From the Connection tab, select the connection you would like to use to collect your e-mail.

Hi you need to go to network connections and set never dial a connection.

Open control panel then click on network and internet connections.
Then click on setup or change an internet connection.
Choose never dial a connection click apply.

Or open IE,click on tools/internet options/conections tab and check never dial a connection click apply.

Make sure all the latest drivers are installed for your network connections.
