OK. Im not so good with computers. Bear with me.
I used to be able to transfer photos to my pc from my phone.
Im trying to get some pics to pc via both usb cable and Samsung PC studio ( which used to work fine), and i also tried via bluetooth dongle ( again, no probs previously).
I can get pics to pc but when i double click to open them so i can save them to file, it launches microsoft word and opens them as a gobbly **** document??!!
Any ideas please?.
Thanks.
Matt

Hello Matt,
Right click on one of the pictures you are having problems with, then click properties. Look and see what is selected as the program that is supposed to open the file. I'm assuming it will say Word. Click on change, then click on the program you want to use as the default. The Windows default picture viewer is Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. When you change it to the program, make sure Always Use the Selected Program... is selected. Hope that helps!

So you are first transferring the pictures to your computer, then navigating to the picture you saved on your C:\ drive in My Computer, then right clicking on that picture? And the only options you get are Execute, Copy, Delete? If you are doing it that way, try transferring the files with the USB cable. Maybe bluetooth is the problem?
I've never seen that before. I can see there being no properties option if you are trying to right click the picture while it's stored in your phone's pictures folder that you transfer from. The only other thing I can think is maybe the pictures are being saved as some unknown format. Try searching through your phone to see if there is a way to choose the picture format you want to save. Change it to jpg or bmp if you can. The last thing I can think maybe is that you have to use specific software to transfer the files. If you are just copying and pasting through My Computer, maybe it's not converting the files into a known format. If none of that helps, I'd say contact the phone manufacturer and see if they have any ideas. Hope that helps.
