Default Not enough resources

recently, i have built myself a new system. it's working fine although sometimes, when i click on hibernate it says: not enough system resources to comlpete the API. Not Enough? NOT ENOUGH???!!!!! It's got 3 GIGS! of RAM, 2Ghz dual core (OCed to 2.75) and a 320G hdd. and that's not enough for it to do a simple task like hibernating?!
it also does this while i'm using sound recorder and whines that it wants more resorces and the like, while i'm in the middle of recording a guitar solo
in control panel > system it's registering all of the RAM ok, says it has 3G.
also, when i do get to hibernate it and it turns off, any little power flux, like that of me plugging in my lamp in the wall socket next to it, will disturb it from it's sleep and it will awaken. doesn't do it when i shut down though.
the paging file is set to the max of 4 gigs

How many processes you got loaded on it? Should be between 30-40 on idle

(CTRL + ALT + DEL and click Processes tab)

44 processes.
i don't think that it "really" needs more resources, because i have checked and it's only using about 10% of the pf and 10% of the ram.
i think theres some kind of an error that makes it "think" theres not enough resources when there is.

Do you have Service Pack 2 installed? There was a bundled hotfix for this in that release.

I think you may struggle to find a solution to this: translocator.ws Hibernation: Insufficient System Resources Exist to Complete the API.
