Need help w/ Password Pal. On launching it now gives the error msg: "Unable to initialize the default Crytptographic Service Provider".

Have used it for many years and suddenly if failed to launch w/ the above message. Using XP on Dell Latitude D410 w/ 1gig memory.

Appreciate any assistance.

Hi welcome to PCHF have you tried to uninstall it and reboot the PC and reinstall it then reboot the PC and see if it works.

Have you tried to do a system restore to a time before you had the problem to see if it will start working again?

Well, that was my first response to the issue...no luck.
