Ok, my laptop is behaving weird for sometime now. When I log in, it automatically logs itself out. This also happens in safe mode, in any account - even the administrator account.
I cannot log into SAFE MODE, SAFE MODE WITH CMD, AND SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING because it does the same with the other modes.

I've tried everything found on the net, like copying userinit.exe to wsaupdate.exe
- still no luck.

Also tried microsoft's procedure on how to repair windows when it cannot log in.

Have also tried a repair install - but still no luck.

OS: Microsoft Windows XP SP2

Any suggestions?

What happens when you try a Repair Install?

The same thing happens - it won't let me log in. Even in safe mode.

I have this problem too... I have tried safe mode and last good configuration but with no success - still logs off...

The only time I have seen this happen is when a Repair Install was performed and it was required to activate again.
I suppose the only thing to do is format and reinstall.

Noooooooooo.... Not again... I had made a clean install not long ago..
