Hello and Welcome to PCHF

Check the error messages by looking in the Event Viewer (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer).

Also, Right Click My Computer/Properties/Advanced/System & Recovery-Settings tab
Under System Failure uncheck Automatically Restart. Now the system should not restart but stop with a blue screen with an error on it. Blue Screen of Death as we call it. Jot down the Stop error and post it back here.
