1st post here, praying you good peeps can help. I used to play online darts about 2 years ago everyday on a site. I now go back there but im having real probs making the game work. I got 1 or 2 drawspeed errors back then, mostly when i tried to move the window i was playing the game in too fast across my pc screen so i could chat in the lobby whilst i was playing. Now it happens all the time even if i dont move it. I have the same set up as i had before & the same pc, its set to open gl (not directx as it wont even open like this) anti-aliasing & standard window. the only help i get from the admins on the site is that to try the settings the other way, which have not helped....the bit that im wondering if you guys may understand is that i can open the room, start & play 3 or 4 games, working perfect, then all of a sudden i get the error saying drawspeed error, i then have to click on a box....which closes the window ending the game, making me look like a quitter....any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thx in advance.

HI welcome to PCHF what type of internet connection are you using?

I was chatting to a friend last night who thinks this may be linked also. I was with aol until a few weeks ago, then i moved to sky - whick uses internet explorer. This is the only thing we can think of thats changed about my pc. He told me that internet explorer was my problem & suggested i tried firefox, I think there was a slight inmprovement as I was actually able to play the game, but it was not running very very badly. He also told me to press Ctrl-Alt-del & look at the task manager.
When I did this i had 2 applications running, firefox & the room i was playing the game in. I had 44 processes, which he said was the problem as he had only around 20...problem is I'm not sure what is what on a technical level so I'm not sure what I can or should get rid of.
