My computer keeps restarting itself. It will get to the Windows XP screen with the blue "loading" bar but then will immediately restart into a black screen and asks if I want to start normally, safe mode, last good config....No matter which one I choose, it will only make it up to the WinXP screen and restart again. The last thing I remember doing on the computer before this happened was browsing the internet on Expedia and it froze so I held down the power button in the front to shut it down (because ctl+alt=del didn't do anything) and then when I pushed the button to turn it back on it just keeps restarting itself. Did the power supply go bad or is it a virus???

I forgot to mention that I did NOT add any new hardware or software to the PC within the last 4 months.

Please close this thread. I got it working. Somehow a file(s) got corrupted and I did a repair from the XP CD and that took care of it.
