Default Computer shuts down, WHY!?!

Ok so heres the thing, I just formated my computer and it was working lovely until about two hours ago. I was browsing the internet, re-downloading my steam games and "BOOOHHHH" it shuts off. I thought maybe i hit a switch or something? BUT after i turned it on it shut off once again..within nearly 3 minutes of startup. I may be wrong but it could be my processor overheating? I felt in the case and it was rather warm....

Howdy hemoglowen...

If you feel the case and it is warm then it is defenitly overheating.. The case should always be cool to the touch..

Download speedfan from below and show us a screenshot of what it tells you..
Also what kind of heatsink and or fan do you have parked on your cpu?

Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

Nooo those are not good things.. I hope you have an AMD cpu as at that temp your almost melting you cpu.... Just to be sure though.. Reboot your pc and get into your BIOS... If you do not know how post back with what tpye of computer you have like Dell hp etc..(TAKE OFF THE SIDE of the pc)

once in your BIOS find an entry called Hardware monitor.. it will tell you the temps as well..

Do you even have a fan on that cpu? Really I dont see temps that high very often and those temps are bad very bad news.

Is those temps while you are playing a game or you just loading windows?
