hi everyone.
could any one tell me were to dowload microsoft scanner and camera ? ive tryed microsoft wesite but cant find it? ive got a digital camera and need to putsome pictures in my files, ive got windows xp service pak 2. thanx for any replys, cheers ...h

Do you know the name of the software?

Hi --it's built in to XP--if it won't run automatically, you should be able to find it listed under Start /All Programs/ Accessories
camera or scanner must be connected-- sometimes these things will show up as "removable disc media" in "my computer" also-- just double-click it.

ive just had a re-install of window xp ive had a look were you said but cant see anything

Try this-- go to control panel-- on the left side menu-- switch to classic view-- it should be down near the bottom in that window...

I'll look for more answers while you try it

If that does not work-- try this-- there's a special tool for fixing XP's "autorun" settings...
it seems there is a bug with some software combinations-- when you plug in a USB device like a scanner or camera-- it should be auto-detected-- this sometimes is broken...
