I have a TOSHIBA Equium P200 Laptop with 1GB (2 x 512mb) memory, I thought that this was not sufficient for my laptop and therefore upgraded it to PC4200 2GB (2 x 1GB).
Now, I have a dual boot on my laptop with Windows Vista and then Windows XP, and this is where the problem arises. When I boot up into XP, I get a
BSOD error (either at the login screen or just after i have logged on), saying something about igxprd32 and a STOP error. I will attached the minidump in a minute.
Now, when I put one of the 1GB sticks into the slot, it works. I then but in the other one (on its own) and it worked. I combined one of the 512mb with the 1GB and it worked. Its just when I put in both of the 1GB that I get this error.
I have an Intel 945GM chipset with all the latest drivers, and I discovered that if I disable the display adapter drivers, it works.
Can anyone shed a light on this problem?
Thanks in advance...

EDIT: I forgot to add that this 2GB
RAM works in my Windows Vista OS and the fact that on the TOSHIBA website, the maximum memory I can put in this laptop is 2GB, but is it possible that the graphics adapter is adding to this memory to take it over its limit?
