Default [Answered] Motherboard help.

Hey guys. Great site, already have my problem diagnosed and am in motion of getting it fixed. Pretty much what this thread is about.

Madmonkey helped me find that my motherboard is FUBAR. I'm wanting to know if the one below (ebay link) would be a suitable replacement for the one below it (ASRock site, my current MB)

Ebay
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe,S. 939 NVIDIA Nforce4 SLI x16, AT on eBay, also For AMD, Motherboards, Desktop PC Components, Computing (end time 22-Jan-08 20:30:00 GMT)

ASROCK
ASRock Motherboard - Product - 939NF4G-SATA2 - Overview

I'm having a bit of an issue finding a source for the board MM also recommended:

ASUS A8V-XE - motherboard - ATX - K8T890

ASUS K8N-LR - motherboard - ATX - nForce4 SLI

ASUS A8N-E - motherboard - ATX - nForce4 Ultra

I dont suppose anyone knows of any good PC component suppliers?

Also wondering if this one is any good?

SUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe,S. 939 NVIDIA Nforce4 SLI x16, AT (ebay)
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe,S. 939 NVIDIA Nforce4 SLI x16, AT on eBay, also For AMD, Motherboards, Desktop PC Components, Computing (end time 22-Jan-08 20:30:00 GMT)

What I'm looking to get is something that has the same capabilities and connections as my current MB, mainly so I dont have to upgrade RAM etc.
Already bought new RAM and PSU trying to diagnose the problem. Apart from the crashing and BSOD it works and runs excellently.

Thanks for the help.

Well, unfortunately OverclockersUK doesn't have any 939 sockets instock.

Ebuyer has this one:

Asrock 939N68PV-GLAN Socket 939 nvidia 7050 onboard VGA 7.1 channel Audio mATX Motherboard

Asrock 939N68PV-GLAN Socket 939 nvidia 7050 onboard VGA 7.1 channel Audio mATX Motherboard - Ebuyer

But not sure if it's suitable for replacement of mine??

Only issue I see (though I'm no AMD Expert) is the mainboard connector Old=20 pin new =24 pin-- what does your PSU have ...?

It has a large 20pin socket and a seperate 4 pin socket I think?

It's this one from E-buyer:

Arctic Power 700W PSU - With PCI-E, SATA, 20+4, ATX12V, 8pin +12V Connectors - Retail Boxed - Ebuyer

Think it's OK? What do you reckon?
