Hi, what kind of wireless adaptor are you using? USB? PCI? And what brand, Belkin, Netgear etc?

ok, did it come with a setup cd? It should just be a simple matter of inserting the adaptor into a spare usb port, windows will detect new hardware and ask to search for drivers ( software which makes hardware work) Insert the setup CD and load the drivers off it. Then the windows wireless software should kick in, you will get a little icon in your system tray that looks like a monitor with lines coming off it, right click that icon then choose VIEW AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS then click on your network to connect.

Or alternatively go here >BT.com | BT Voyager ADSL , CLick the big button that says CLICK HERE then follow the instructions.

If you had read my actual question in the first place you'd understand why I'm asking a " New question"

I was merely replying to Geekgirl`s question by stating that you had been instructed on the installation procedure, it was not my decision or intention that the post was closed. As the threads have been locked by a member of staff, they obviously believe they were in breach of the rules. Decisions made by staff should be respected and if you disagree with how it has been handled you should take it up with Staff
