Just as a side note, those temperatures of your PC reported by SpeedFan were perfect. The maximum temperature of your CPU and each core is 71°C.

Thats cool then. Everything in order. New MB then.

Are you looking at purchasing an equivilent motherboard, or looking for a small upgrade at the same time.

Just an equivalent one would be good. Just something I can do a straight swap with all the current components. When the PC isn't crashing it runs very nicely.

Hey Pete,

Here are some socket 939's that fit your current spec:

ASUS A8N-E - motherboard - ATX - nForce4 Ultra : Read reviews and compare prices at Ciao.co.uk
ASUS K8N-LR - motherboard - ATX - nForce4 SLI : Read reviews and compare prices at Ciao.co.uk
ASUS A8V-XE - motherboard - ATX - K8T890 : Read reviews and compare prices at Ciao.co.uk < Recommend

Or, get the same one you have now if you want to avoid a Windows re-install: ASRock Motherboard - Product - 939NF4G-SATA2 - Overview
