I'm suprised you didn't send the PC right back after recieving the first couple of BSOD's Pete. Is it still under warranty if you find you need any replacement parts?

The random aspect of the BSOD indicates that the problem is most likely onboard the motherboard, and the fact your having exactly the same BSOD each time. If there was a problem with memory itself, I would have expected a 0A BSOD in addition for example, or if it was the graphics card, the problem would most likely occur when doing anything grapically intensive such as video playback or gaming. The capacitors are the only thing that show any real sign of failure, but the connection problem can occur anywhere onboard.

There are some more things we can do to narrow your problem down for certain, but first, I was just looking at your picture above, and something caught my eye. The 4 pin molex connector at the top of the PC with 2 yellow and 2 black wires, what is this connected to, it doesn't seem to be connected to the power supply? Also, can you move the power cables out (which have been quite neatly wrapped up by the way), out of the way of the CPU fan. It seems to be obtructing your airflow a bit. Tuck them around the side of the CPU if possible.

It's not under warranty anymore. I know I should've, but I thought it was just going to be a one off thing. . . . .

It is connected to the PSU, the wire just goes a little further round. Off picture on the one I took. Here is a better one.

It is quite stiff that wire (came tied up like that from the box) I've taken another pic of that is it isn't that close, but cant really be moved.

Thanks for those pictures Pete.

That 4 pin molex connector is still concerning me a little, as there seems to be another one floating free at the bottom left, is that correct? I've not seen a power supply with two of these molex connectors before, plus they are both different colours.

This connection varies between motherboards. There are some motherboards that won't boot without it, but mostly just provide additional motherboard stability. I'm not had much dealings with Asrock motherboards, but could you confirm that one is 4 pin?

Also, the first test. Can you download speedfan from here: Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer , and post a screenshot of your findings. Take a look at the voltages at the bottom left, are these stable, or do they fluctuate?

Yes. One is free (black & yellow wires) and able to reach the connection at the top of the MB. The other one is connected closely to the main one that powers the MB (red, yellow, orange and black wires). It cant reach the top connection but does have 4 pin writen on it.

Not too sure on the black and yellow connector. Like I said above the one connected to the main MB power line has 4 PIN writen on it. Here's a picture and also a link to my particular MB and PSU

MB:
ASRock Motherboard - Product - 939NF4G-SATA2 - Overview

According to my MB instruction manual the connection with the black and yellow wire currently in is ATX 12V Power Connector. Further on it reads "Please note that it is necessary to connect a power supply with ATX 12V plug to this computer. Failing to do so will cause power up failure".
I dont get power up failures so I presume the wire in there is OK????

PSU:
Arctic Power 700W PSU - With PCI-E, SATA, 20+4, ATX12V, 8pin +12V Connectors - Retail Boxed - Ebuyer

PIC OF OTHER 4 PIN CONNECTOR:

I've downloaded that program and will post the shot as soon as I can. Should the program run for a little while before I take the shot?
Or should I just install, run, take shot straight away?

Thanks again for the help madmonkey, much appreciated. Getting much further than I have been.

It's running fine, spinning 3300rpm according to BIOS screen and the speedfan program.

Madmonkey:

Here are a couple of screen shots of Speedfan. A slight fluctuation on the voltage readings.
