I'm suprised you didn't send the PC right back after recieving the first couple of
BSOD's Pete. Is it still under warranty if you find you need any replacement parts?
The random aspect of the
BSOD indicates that the problem is most likely onboard the motherboard, and the fact your having exactly the same
BSOD each time. If there was a problem with memory itself, I would have expected a 0A
BSOD in addition for example, or if it was the graphics card, the problem would most likely occur when doing anything grapically intensive such as video playback or gaming. The capacitors are the only thing that show any real sign of failure, but the connection problem can occur anywhere onboard.
There are some more things we can do to narrow your problem down for certain, but first, I was just looking at your picture above, and something caught my eye. The 4 pin molex connector at the top of the PC with 2 yellow and 2 black wires, what is this connected to, it doesn't seem to be connected to the power supply? Also, can you move the power cables out (which have been quite neatly wrapped up by the way), out of the way of the
CPU fan. It seems to be obtructing your airflow a bit. Tuck them around the side of the
CPU if possible.
