Looks like I'm going to get off to a busy start.

I recently saw an article in PC-World magazine on how to create an emergency boot CD that will bring you up in XP. Now I can't locate the article. Every site I go to points me to how to create an emergency boot floppy. Borzhe Moi! I don't know if vendors are still selling PC's with floppy drives! (No, I don't speak Russian but I do have some old Tom Lehrer songs on CD.
)I recently downloaded EBCD (ebcd-0.6.1-pro-sfx.exe) from FileHippo.com but I know nothing about it. (At Prof. Lehrer would say: This, I know from, nothing!
) except that it will download and install the rest of the package. Hence, I am skittish about running the one tool that claims to solve my problem.- Anyone have the cookbook recipe for an emergency boot CD?
- Anyone have experience with the ebcd utility

PS (This guy just don't know when to stop!)
I tried searching for "boot cd" but I couldn't figure out how to supply that as a search string with an embedded blank.
