Hi there,

We are going to need the exact configuration of your PC so please read the following carefully;

Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-System Information. Click on "components" and highlight "problem devices". Any hardware device with a driver problem will be listed here. Make a note of the PNP Device ID line of the entry. It will contain a Vendor number and a Device number (VEN. . . . DEV. . . .)
both four digits long.
Look up those numbers here:

PCI Vendor and Device Lists

These hardware diagnostics are all free:
Everest:
|MG| EVEREST Free Edition 2.20
Belarc:
Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit
Siw:
SIW download and review - system information tool from SnapFiles

Post back as much information about the hardware as you can.

Good work

Let's start with the chipset driver: nForce 430/410/405/400 - Windows
& the sound driver: Realtek

Ok, did a bit of hunting around and came up with this for you.

http://www.c-reality.com/files/INSPI...RIVER_PACK.zip

Also (from outer-heaven):
I just solved the wireless problem. If yours is Broadcom 802.11g Wireless, it's actually Asus WL-135XX (where XX is some letters I forgot). I took out the card and checked the model names. Download Driverv3100640.zip from Asus homepage and unzip it. Then from Device Manager, goto Property of the network device with question mark. Choose 'update driver' then choose the file from the unzipped file. I am using the wireless card without any problem now.

OK thanks to everyone i have ALMOST all the drivers needed.

The Asus Wireless Driver suggested does install and appear to work.
When trying to connect wirelessly it says it can not connect. This may have to do with the driver cause i have tested my wireless network and it is functioning correctly.

Any suggestions on where to get the correct broadcom driver?

thanks again
