Unhappy compaq presario 1925.
Hi ppl,I have an old Presario 1925.it went wrong,no lights showed ,no power,so I stripped it down,on advice removed the coin battery and shorted across the twof37s,put it all back together,ZILCH,so I stripped the ac adapter cable head and found a very thin broken wire,sorted,now it fires up but no image on screen,although I now have a much brighter screen,MAC.

Hello and Welcome to PCHF

Possibly bad video, is it onboard? Try adding a video card and disable the onboard via the BIOS
