i used linux on a disk and when i switched back to windows it said that the external hd and flash are not recognized or are malfunctioning, i reinstalled windows to fix the problem but it is the same thing!,
all my flash drives and external hds have the same message!,
i thought it was the drivers but when i let windows wizard search for them it says that is no better match!,
i know that u guys are the greatest and can help me!

oh yea i have a usb mouse and it works fine and all drivers are up to date!

Go to your PC/motherboard manufacturers website and grab the latest chipset drivers. Then go into device manager and uninstall all usb devices/hubs and reboot. When Windows "finds" the USB hub again, use the newly downloaded drivers to complete the installation.

i do not know but what i do know is that I have a brand new flias drive and i put in a usb. any usb and I get the same error
