OK, here it is....
I am no computer genius and am taking advantage of all your knowledge!!
Every time i start up my PC, i can go boil the kettle before it is ready for action..
First i get a box saying something about windows defender failed to initialise but i can start it manually if i like??
Then i get ( bottom right) found multimedia controller, then i get found new hardware wizard box, i close it, then get another, i close that then it takes forever to load my screen which is set as Google.
And if i want to open OE, i can boil the kettle and put something in the oven, eat it and wash the pots before i can see that i have won another holiday or my free ***** enlarging pills have been authorised!!

I was "Cross-looped" the other day by a really helpful guy on another matter and am simply in awe at how that works.
Any help, even via cross-loop is most welcome - - anything to speed things up a bit.
I understand Defrag and do that regularly.

Hi there mate, I suggest doing the PCHF prework and posting back the resulting logs for the security guys to have a look at. I'm sure we'll manage to clean it up.

At least they (presumably) get your gender right, I come back to an inbox full of email offering me breast augmentation hehe
