Default My documents folder

May i know how do i call out 'my documents' folder to the desktop? As i happen to find it missing after i have installed the graphics card driver, are they any relations between the installation of the GPU driver and my document's folder.

There is no direct relation between the driver and your desktop settings, altough they can be accessed via the same section.

- If you right click on your desktop, go to Properties.
- Under the Desktop tab, click on Customize Desktop.
- Click on the My Documents check box, and finally press [OK] twice.

There are several ways to do this.

1. Open an explorer windows and drag and drop the My Docs icon to your desktop - this creates a shortcut for you.

2. If you prefer the old style Win2K single menu style, then right-click your start button, select properties and change to classic start menu - this also gives you your my network and other icons.

3. If you link the modern XP double menu, then right-click your start button, properties, customise start menu, advanced and then scroll down to the My Docs and select the appropriate action.
