Hi all
when i come to turn off my pc it simply wont let me and i have to un plug it every night. I go to the start menu click turn off and nothing happens i dont even get the turn off menu pop up. The cursor changes as if it will open the menu but it just does not.once i waited for 15 minutes or more and the turn off menu did appear however this is the only time it has, i've had this problem for a few daysa now and it's driving me mad- thanks for anyhelp you can give.

yes i do use that but my 12mnth subscription ran out on xmas eve and i cant afford to re do it just yet! doh!

Try uninstalling it and then test to see if you can shutdown successfully. We can give you advice about (imho) better FREE anti-virus.

ok i have uninstalled norton and it seems my problem is solved!!! thankyou very much - however i now have no security so what do i do please!!!?
