i had to change hard drive and reinstal windows ended up there a lot of security updates to instal but they do not instal automaticly as they used to on my old HD but i seem to be able to instal they manualy when i download the .exe files from microsoft. wandering were the problem is and how to fix it. because im geting nowere doing it manualy.

Does this MS KB article help at all? You receive an access violation error and the system may appear to become unresponsive when you try to install an update from Windows Update or from Microsoft Update
