I saw a reply posting the other day that refered to non-dos files that don't show when viewed with MS explorer. It made me ponder the idea that if you use Dos to formatt a HDD would it delete these files or not.

Hello Rshep,

I don't know if this answers your question or not, but...when you format a hard drive, it wipes every bit of data off of it regardless of what you use to format it.
