Default PC wont boot up

i had a power cut last nite and now my pc when turned on wont boot up. it give the option to start in safe mode of various types, start up from last succesful start up and normal set up but no matter what one i choose it just sits on the windows loading screen with the loading bar. it is a evesham computer less then 6 months old and runs with vista other then that i havnt got a clue. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! it has all my uni work on it.

yeah i tried that and same again. a friend just told me to do alt+F10 and still the same.

Sounds as though you're going to need to carry out a Repair Install of XP then.

how do i do that and its defult program is vista but i origionally wanted xp so is this a problem
