Windows XP/2000 - problem insalling software posted in the Operating Systems forums; hi everyone again merry xmas to you all my problem now is i downloaded a program and when go to set up it comes up saying jscript is not properly ...

hi everyone again merry xmas to you all
my problem now is i downloaded a program and when go to set up it comes up saying jscript is not properly registered
i d/loaded jscript shut down my browser and started it again as it says to do but it still says he same when i try to install the program
any idea guy,s?

well i d/loaded java dont know if it,s the latest
it said i had it installed on my pc but it still did,nt work
do you know the latest 1 and is it possible for you to tell me how to install & get it set up would really like this program to try out

i,m sorry m8 but i,m not to clever with pc,s at all and i,m just begining to get the hang of things

1.un install the first program you d/loaded
2. restart
3. un install java
4. restart
5. download java from here
Download Free Java Software

6.restart
7. re-install your first program..

That's all the help i can give you.

john i,ve been looking thro my programs and it does,nt say anything about java i did d/load it last night but i cant find it anywhere
