I was running windows xp professional and decided it was time for a format. When the formatting was in the first stages, file shell32.dll was not found and i had 3 choices: retry, skip, or quit. I chose skip and quite obviously the setup could not work coreectly without that file.

However now when my computer turns on it keeps going to the same menu and setup cannot continue leaving me with a big blank on my mind about what to do, so at least i can delete that setup and start a new one.

Which menu are you getting to? If it is the Windows setup menu, will it let your delete the partition and re-create a new one?

its the main menu were on the left you have.. preparing instalaltion... installing windows... finishing instlaaltion etc... the blue screen

..and it doesn't get to this one?
