I have a new Seagate. I plug in my external hard drive and bring up the external hard drive manager. I select the hard drive. Then I click the Backup tab.
I choose to do a custom backup.
I want to backup all of My Documents so I select it and I click next.
I choose to back up all file types and click next.
I choose the time; I always set the time 5 minutes from the currnt time so it will do the backup soon (for instance, if it were 1:35 PM, I would scedule the backup for 1:40 PM) and I click next.
According the the user guide, this is the next window that I'm SUPPOSED to get but I NEVER do.
Instead of getting the window above like the manual says, I get this window just like the one that I started off with.
I checked my "Backup Log" to see if maybe the program still did the back up anyway, but it didn't.
I can only get up to the point shown in the 5th picture, but no further. When I go to "Delete Backup Plans" there are none scheduled for me to delete.
