Default Permanently Delete Files That Have Been Deleted

Hi there,

I am wondering is there a way to permanently delete files from your system for files that already been deleted ? I have many files that has been deleted ( or so I thought). But using a free download utility pointed out that these files can still be retrieved. I tried downloading utilities from the Internet to permanently delete deleted files but the utility only has facility to permanently delete files that has not been deleted yet.

Appreciate help.

For myself, I personally use this file deleter.
Erase Files with WhiteCanyon's Wipedrive, MediaWiper, & SecureClean.

Hi,

The file shredder you have provided states "erase hard drive".

Does this mean when I use this utility, it will wipe out the whole hard drive ?

Is there any free utility that you can suggest that will identify all the files that I have deleted in my laptop and permanently delete those without erasing the whole hard drive ?

Thank you in advance for your time and patience.

Oh, I just found which one does which:

WipeDrive PRO - Completely eliminates hard drive data

SecureClean - Cleans up unwanted files and Internet clutter
