This is something I did before but forgot because I don't do it often but how do I delete a admin account and give privileges to everyone who uses it? Well, when you boot up the computer and come to the welcome screen, you get an account that you have to log into if you created a password with it or even created an account for that matter. How is it that I take that account off so that when the computer boots up, it just goes to the welcome screen and straight to the desktop?

I know you guys think that this is so simple but like I said, I forgot and it's been a while since I did this procedure, but I need your help...please.

Well, you have to have at least one administrator account on your computer, you'll notice if you try to delete it you can't, and you may recieve an error along those lines. What you can do however, is remove the password, or configure auto login, therefore passing the login screen in both cases.

If you want the account to login automatically, here's what you have to do:

Click Start, click Run, and type control userpasswords2

Clear the Users must enter a username and password to use this computer check box

Click Apply

Enter the user name and password you wish to automatically log on with, and then click OK

Click OK again and you're all done

Well, I'm Dutch, but I think I know how you can handle this. Go to Start, and then Configuration Screen ( I don't know if it's called that ) and then User-Accounts,

In there you can change accounts, change the rights of the accounts and so on..

That's fine Dunkin lol :-D! Both of you helped out so therefore give you both the credit. Now in doing this will it go straight to the desktop instead of the user name? The username doesn't have a password, by the way, you just have to click on it to get to the desktop.
