i get messages saying no audio device, and i get no sound. i think in my haste to delete junk my teenagers put on the machine i accidentally deleted my audio driver. help? it's a dell dimension 2400.

Dave B, download the tool that Eagle American provided a link to, run it, and it should generate a log of the scan it performed. Save the log wherever you like, then upload that log as an attachment here. Does that make sense?

Sorry if you've been kept waiting, however staff can be extremely busy round here dealing with other users problems. If you get that log for us then I'm sure someone will be able to help you out in no time.
