Try Answer 2 the within xp one.


make sure you do select the partition(the windows xp) you don't need.

Thanks, but I want to keep the partition, I just don't want two operating systems.

It sounds like you might need to edit the boot ini

Click Start>right click on My Computer>Properties>Advanced>Startup and recovery settings>Edit
and then just delete the entry that is no good ....
if the first one is working then delete the second entry
