i was wondering why, after a format, i can't play my phone's recorded videos in wmp anymore? i always could, so why can't i now? is there a plugin? is there a program i install which installs 3gp plugin automatically like sony ericsson phone software? plz help!

I don't really know much about this (I have video playing problems sometimes too), but from what I've found it seems as if having the latest QuickTime allows you to play those files. There is also a program called 3ivx which evidently gives you the proper codecs for playing them in WMP.

Did you reinstall the phone software after the format wigman?
Stupid question I know but stranger things have happened.

since i have no use of the software since my w880 memory stick doesnt need drivers or software i havent.
