Default Energy management

hi, I have a little inconvenience... it's not really a problem (I think) it's more a thing of comfort... I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop and it doesn't seem to be able to save the energy management preferences... for example, I regularly use my laptop closed, with the display down, but to do so, I have to go everytime to the energy management options to set it not to do anything when I close the **** thing... I was wondering if there's any way to fix this... Oh, by the way, the problem isn't just that, the thing isn't capable of saving the profiles preferences... so I guess it must be a problem with all the energy management thing... Thanks in advance

Default Re: Energy management

I was thinking... could it have something to do with me having a registry monitor installed? It tends to prevent all the unwanted changes to the registry, but it usually asks before doing so, which it doesn't do in this case... so I don't think it's likely... but I guess all the info could help
